SUMMARY

The discussion centers on the concept of interpolation to find values not explicitly presented in a table. The user inquires about obtaining a value corresponding to specific parameters, S/D 2.6 and H/D 2.3. Interpolation techniques can be applied to estimate these missing values effectively. Various methods exist for performing interpolation, which can be utilized based on the data structure and requirements.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of interpolation techniques
  • Familiarity with data tables and structures
  • Basic knowledge of mathematical concepts related to estimation
  • Experience with programming languages or tools that support data manipulation (e.g., Python, R)
NEXT STEPS
  • Research linear interpolation methods and their applications
  • Explore Python libraries such as NumPy for implementing interpolation
  • Learn about spline interpolation for more complex datasets
  • Investigate the use of R's 'approx' function for interpolation tasks
USEFUL FOR

This discussion is beneficial for data analysts, statisticians, and anyone involved in data science who needs to estimate missing values in datasets through interpolation techniques.

Hello,

I have a problem with finding values from the table that are not presented in table. Let's say i need a value corresponding S/D 2,6 H/D 2,3. Is it even possible?

Thanks,

L.
