Job seekers often struggle to find opportunities with Fortune 500 companies but have more success with smaller firms. The challenge lies in locating these smaller companies, particularly those with under 200 employees or those in tech incubators, as they may not have advertised job listings. There is a demand for resources that compile contact information for these smaller firms, as applicants are willing to reach out directly. Engineering roles often involve contractors, which adds to the variety of potential employers. A centralized website or database listing these smaller companies could significantly aid job seekers in their search.

Hi,

I have never had any success when applying for jobs with the large Fortune 500 companies. With smaller firms I do pretty well. The problem is finding them. They are scattered all over cyberspace. They might not have an advertised listing but I would take a shot at contacting them if I only knew they existed. I am thinking about companies with under 200 employees and the really small ones at tech incubators.

So, is there some website with a long list of contact info?

There are so so many...smaller firms. For engineering, many are contractors, having a wide variety employers but applying similar techniques.

Well if you work at say Lockheed Martin and you work in the latest iteration of a missile or if you work at Pratt & Whitney, they assign you to work in the team helping out with building the jet...
Hello, I graduated from undergrad a few years ago with a Major in Physics and minor in Electrical Engineering. I tried to get experience working on and testing circuits through my professor who studied Neutrinos, however covid caused the opportunity to go away and I graduated with no experience or internships. I have attempted to break into the engineering industry with no success. Right now I am considering going for a Masters in Electrical Engineering and I need advice on if this would be...
