How does a topic fall into a black hole on the physicsforums? Someone posted a new question about finding a book, I gave a response and upon sending the message, physicsforums said the topic was in a black hole. What is this?

The thread was probably deleted between the time you started typing and the time you posted.
 
It's just trying to be a clever way to present a 404 not found server message, nothing more :smile:
