IUPAC naming for Ti(CO3)2

Homework Statement

One part of this problem is the following:

Give the IUPAC name for each of the following:

Ti(CO3)2

I thought it would be diTitanium Carbon Trioxide

But its apparently Titanium carbonate

Can someone please try and explain this better for me so I can understand it!

i think it should be titanium(IV) carbonate.
CO₃^2- is carbonate ion .
