AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers on finding a biography of John Wheeler that emphasizes his theories and thoughts rather than his personal life. Participants suggest various resources, including a comprehensive Wikipedia page that summarizes his life and work, and a specific book that may align with the request for a more focused biography. Additional links to interviews and archives related to Wheeler's contributions to physics are shared, highlighting his invention of the one-electron universe concept, which emerged from speculative discussions with Richard Feynman. The conversation underscores the challenge of locating literature that specifically addresses Wheeler's theoretical work.

Can anybody recommend a good bio of John Wheeler? I'd especially like to read one that tracks his thoughts and theories, rather than one focusing on his personal life. Any suggestions for non-biographical treatment of his work would also be appreciated.
