AI Thread Summary
Landing a computer science or engineering job without networking is possible, but it largely depends on individual skills and experience. For undergraduates, having relevant work experience can significantly enhance job prospects. Additionally, many employers conduct recruitment events at universities, particularly towards the end of the academic year, which can provide opportunities for students to secure positions without extensive networking.

Depends on how good you are and how much experience you have.

I see from your Profile page that you are still in undergrad. Do you have any work experience yet? What year are you in uni? Do employers typically come to your school near the end of the year for interview days?
