Latex ...! Should I accept the project??

Hi there,

I need to do a project with my supervisor and he asks me to use Latex in my project...!

Now the question is that is Latex normal program I mean like Microsoft Words ? I mean just requiers typing skills?? Or does it require knowing some codes??

You can use LyX for WYSIWYG-esque LaTeX editing: www.LyX.org

I've started out quite a few people on LyX and they have picked it up.

LaTeX is the de facto standard form academic publishing, and I'd highly recommend learning it. It tremendously simplifies referencing, document layout, and especially mathematics.
