Hi,I want to major in Technological Physics. What opportunities are there with this field?
The only thing that comes in my mind is teaching physics.
Can you get a job as a physics engineer ?
In my country this job is nonexistent and I have no idea what to search.
I don't live in the USA,I live in Romania!

One option for you to pursue: Contact the department at the universities you are considering, and ask them what their graduates did after graduation.

Choppy's option is probably the best, as both programs and job markets are somewhat country-specific.

Hi, Wolly
If you really love physics and if it really admires you, I'm pretty sure you'll find the job. I think Energy generating and saving technologies would be of high demand in the nearest future. The X-Ray & Laser techs are also quite perspective. In Romania you have, for instance, the "Extreme Light Infrastructure - Nuclear Physics" facility (ELI-NP). It is prestigious advanced research facility and, as you see, they should have vacancies now. Where is "your soul striving to"? That's the first you should define for yourself. Suppose, you can check in the web the main enterprises, find through LinkedIn their HR managers, employees and ask them whta they offer now and "If I learn this and that, what are my chances and perspectives at your company?". Finally, Romania is part of the EU and you can easy re-locate. If it suits you, of course...
