A license error is preventing access to MATLAB, likely due to the software being licensed for a single processor or computer. Moving or copying MATLAB to a different computer requires obtaining a new license. To resolve the issue, it is necessary to run the Activation client to reactivate the MATLAB license.

I am getting a license error and not able to open MATLAB after trying the troubleshoot.
Is this a copy of Matlab on a different computer? A lot of software is licensed for a single processor or computer, so one cannot simply move or copy the software on a new computer. One would have to obtain a new license.
The message indicates that one must run the Activation client to reactivate the Matlab license.
As you can see from the image here, when I graph the 2d graph of y = 5sin(1/x), it comes out like I'd expect. However, when I graph it in a 3d graph, it doesn't look right at all. Can someone tell me why it isn't displaying right, or is it and I'm just missing something when I add the z axis?
