Matlab/Mathematica Help: Tutorials & Trial Downloads

Im having some trouble with running a couple of Matlab programs. Is there a tutorial somewhere I can use?

Also, I was hoping to find a trial download for either Matlab or Mathematica, but all of the sites I go to don't have it. Any help there as well?

You can try mathematica for free, either order the CD or download it.
