My fantasy story idea with photon particles

AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers on a fantasy novel featuring a protagonist battling an army of creatures made from photonic molecules, created by a mad scientist using advanced technologies. The writer seeks to blend science with fantasy, specifically how to plausibly depict the protagonist's method of defeating these creatures using fire, rain, and rubidium. Suggestions include exploring the interaction between photon particles and rubidium gas to create unstable oscillations, leveraging lightning charges, and considering the effects of resonant frequencies and radioactivity. Additionally, concepts from scientific research on stopping light and using light beams to create destructive interference are proposed as potential methods for the protagonist's victory. The writer expresses a willingness to credit contributors for their ideas.

I'm a fantasy writer and I am twisting and almost bending science in my story. I see no harm in it, and if you agree, I would like to ask for help.

I'm writing a fantasy novel where the protagonist must battle an army of strange creatures. I say strange because these creatures are made of photonic molecules. If you are not familiar with photonic molecules, here is a Youtube link.

In the story, a mad scientist uses an artificial intelligence technology, photon particles, rubidium atom cloud, and thousands of motorized micro-mirrors to create photon molecules which then get turn into photonic polymers which become the building blocks of living photonic creatures.

In a desperate move, the protagonist uses fire, rain drops, and a small quantity of rubidium to obliterate the entire army of these photonic creatures. But I can't quite fudge the science enough to make it somewhat plausible. I thought about the photon particles from the fire interact with rubidium gas in the open air which happens to be raining, to create some unstable oscillation runaway scenario. Some other thoughts I had are lightning charge, resonant frequency, radioactivity of the rubidium.

Any suggestion/feedback would be appreciated. If I do use your idea in my story, I will duly credit you as the source.

Or perhaps you could use a light beam (laser or otherwise) to create destructive interference to destroy the photonic matter. It probably should be limited to something akin to a flesh wound, but it might be something to consider.

I'm looking to pick the brains for a fantasy story of someone who knows a little about how ancient aquatic reptiles (~65Mya) might have migrated to breeding grounds in ancient Atlantic Ocean and its shores. The premise is that such creatures, last seen 65 million years ago, managed to survive through the ages on the shores of mid-Atlantic islands - now gone - and ended up in (relatively) modern times. The questions are mostly about how their migration patterns for breeding might have...
Earth has one large natural satellite in reality. This is only talking about the context of a habitable, planet that has the conditions as Earth, with similar axial tilt. It would have a moon system similar to that of Uranus. Let's say it has 6 moons, similar in size to Puck, Miranda, Ariel, Umbriel, Titania, and Oberon. These 6 moons would orbit in safe, stable orbits around the Earth-like planet. What would their apparent size, and realistic distance be from the Earth-like planet? What...
