Need help finding Feynmans' Lectures on Physics book

In summary, the person is looking for Feynman's Lectures on Physics, a book that sparked their interest in science when they were 16 but couldn't understand at the time. Now, they want to revisit it but the 3-volume set is expensive at $156. They may consider borrowing it from the library, but would prefer to own it. They are seeking suggestions for where to find a good price, and it is suggested to check Amazon for new or used sets, or look for an older edition.

i am looking for Feynmans Lectures on physics. that book is the reason i got into that type of science. i was only 16 when i read it, but i didn't understand any of the equations in it. but now that i am more advanced in the subject i want to give it a try again. the only bad part is that the entire 3 volume set is like $156, which is an insane price. i might as well go back to the library and just check it out like i did when i was 16. but i would really love to own it, so does anyone know where i can get the entire 3 volume set for a good price?

I completely understand your desire to own a copy of Feynman's Lectures on Physics. It is a highly influential and valuable resource in the field of physics. Unfortunately, the high cost of the 3 volume set can be a barrier for many individuals.
One option you may want to consider is purchasing a used copy of the book. There are many online marketplaces and bookstores that offer used books at a lower price. Another option is to check with your local university or college library, as they may have a copy available for borrowing.
Additionally, there are many online resources and lecture notes that cover similar topics to Feynman's lectures, which may be a more cost-effective alternative. However, if owning a physical copy is important to you, I suggest doing some research and comparing prices from different sources to find the best deal.
I also recommend reaching out to your network of colleagues and fellow scientists to see if anyone is willing to lend or sell their copy at a more reasonable price.
Overall, I encourage you to continue your pursuit of Feynman's lectures and I am confident that you will find a solution that works for you. Good luck in your search!
