I've been trying for a while now. I don't know how to relate [tex]\phi[/tex] with the distance rolled down the plane. Could really use some help if you know anything that would help. Thanks

[itex]\phi[/itex] = [itex]\phi[/itex](0) + w(0)*t +(1/2 alpha*time-squared)?
 


No. I'm asking for a linear distance (something you would measure in meters).

Yep, that's it. Now how does that distance s relate to the distance the cylinder rolled along the surface?
