Homework Statement

Could anyone tell me if [NiF₆]2- and [NiF₆]4- are diamagnetic or paramagnetic?
And also their hybridization states? please?

Homework Equations

The Attempt at a Solution

well i thought F is a weak ligand and hence a high spin complex formed, but i read a few places where it says that [NiF₆]4- is diamagnetic, which doesn't make sense to me. And i think the hybridization should be sp³d² but if its diamagnetic then i don't know what to do :-( could you please help me out?
thank you

nothing more i can add...
could someone please help me out here?please?
could you at least point me in the right direction?
