For the most recent post in PF, which is most likely: few or no replies, or many replies? Is there a distribution of replies derivable for such posts?

I would think that the responses on the most recent post would be the same as the average number of responses per thread, weighted by the number of posts on each thread.
 
It would depend upon which particular forum the post was in. I would imagine that different forums have a vastly different average number of replies per thread.
