Does anybody here have any experience with Ohio States’s undergraduate physics program? If so, what stuck out to you and what did you like/dislike about it?

A student I mentor applied there and was accepted. I had a really close look at the program, and I regard their program as excellent, especially as a launching pad to graduate school. I lived in Ohio for a decade and taught at a college there. I've also personally visited the Ohio State Physics department. Ohio State is a very good school, and their Physics program is deserving of a top 25 ranking nationally.

But like most schools, out of state tuition can be very high without lots of scholarship cash. In the end, I advised this student that Ohio State was not 50k better than another option where they could graduate debt free.

But if you are an Ohio resident or can otherwise put together a plan to attend and graduate debt free from Ohio State with a degree in Physics, I highly recommend it.

You posted an identical question like this for Michigan State. How many more can we expect from you?

Zz.
Zero.
