Determine A and B in terms of a and b.

ax + b divided by x^2− 9=A/x-3 + B=x+3

When i calculate it i get a+b/2 and a-b/2 but that's wrong. I need help with this one.

Until you post your work, all we can say is, yes, that's completely wrong. I can't imagine how you would get that.
