Homework Statement

If I have a transfer function [tex]H(jw)= |\frac{V_o}{V_i}|[/tex]. I need to find the phase difference between Vo and Vi.

Homework Equations

The Attempt at a Solution

The phase angle is [tex]tan^{-1}(\frac{Im(H)}{Re(H)})[/tex]. My problem is that if I get a positive angle, does this mean that the Output leads or lags the input? I can't find this explained clearly in any text.

Leads.
