How did you find PF?

Hi everyone! I’m a physicist at heart, drawn to big questions about the universe. My thesis journeyed through String Theory and the Maldacena conjecture a long time ago, but three years ago, I leapt into AI with a PhD focused on Reinforcement Learning.

It turns out, physics and AI aren’t so different—Hamilton-Jacobi equations and Boltzmann-like methods bridge the two fields in fascinating ways. Now, I’m gearing up to apply AI to quantum computing, chasing a deeper theoretical framework uniting dynamical systems and machine intelligence.

Welcome to PF.

You may have already found them, but there is a long thread in the General Discussion forum about the problems and errors in AI currently, and there are several threads in the Computing forum about mechanics of AI and ML. We currently do not allow AI to be used as references in the technical PF forums, since the current implementations are too error prone to be considered reliable.

Perhaps you will help to change that issue with AI in the coming years!

I’m a retired ex physicist I guess. Although I have a first degree in theoretical physics and did post graduate studies ( structural phase transitions in strontium Titanate, I did not pursue a career in physics. However it has always been my first love. Since retiring I’ve been interested in quantum computing and quantum mechanics
