Discussion Character

  • Exploratory, Technical explanation, Homework-related

Main Points Raised

  • Some participants mention Leonard Susskind's lecture series on quantum mechanics available on YouTube.
  • Others point out the existence of an MIT lecture series, noting that the visibility of the blackboard may hinder understanding.
  • A participant provides several links to online course materials and resources for quantum mechanics, suggesting there are many more available.
  • One participant encourages further inquiry by asking about the learner's current level of understanding.

Areas of Agreement / Disagreement

Participants generally agree that there are multiple online resources for learning quantum mechanics, but there is no consensus on the best options or the adequacy of the materials.

Contextual Notes

Some resources mentioned may have limitations in terms of accessibility or clarity, particularly regarding video quality and visibility of instructional materials.

Who May Find This Useful

Along with Susskind's series, there is an MIT lecture series available on video as well, but you can't see the blackboard well enough to follow what they're doing.
Here are a number of course materials that you can find online. There are many more.
