Quantum Mechanics + Engineering = ?

I really enjoy quantum mechanics but recently I've been looking at engineering, astronautical to be specific. I was wondering if there is some form of engineering that incorporates quantum mechanics. Thanks

The answer is an emphatic "Yes." Pretty much anything in semiconductors and lasers would fall under this category. I doubt that there's much going on in aeronautical engineering, but QM is a major part of electrical engineering.
