Which one is the correct option ? Please explain why !

No.. Its from my entrance exam.. According to me it should be compression and shear.. so ?

In general, I would expect all 3, depending on the system.
Compression: Sure, we have gravity
Shear: With friction
Tension: At sufficient velocity, at the outer parts (to keep them attached to the rolling object).
