Tim Hetherington: 1970 – 2011

Hetherinton and Hondros were covering the rebels and civilians in Libya. Hetherington was killed by an RPG while covering the conflict in Misrata.

A very dangerous job, that they did well. Two other photographers, Guy Martin and Chris Brown, were also injured, but are recovering.
 
Such dangerous places they have reported from. What a incredible amount of bravery, to do so. Sympathies to their family and friends.

True that! If I were married to Christianne Amanpour or Lara Logan, I don't know that I'd have the fortitude to see them off at the airport to do their jobs. War correspondents are a special breed.
 
WOW we just watched Restrepo in a class I'm taking a few weeks ago...

That's very sad... R.I.P.
 
war is very terrible, i hate it very much and i hope it won't have war in the future.
