Homework Statement



Simplify the following expression: x3(1-x2) / x(x-1)

The Attempt at a Solution



I know that the top can be factored to x3(1-x)(1+x) to give x3(1-x)(1+x) / x(x-1) . However, after this step I seem to just go round in circles. I got an answer of 2 on one occasion but I do not believe this is correct. Help would be appreciated.

1 - x = -(-1 + x) = -(x - 1)
Does that help?
