I am looking for some suggestions for Condensed Matter and Solid State books. I currently have a one semester undergrad (soon to be two semesters) of Quantum Mechanics background. I am especially skewed toward something along the lines of Dover books, since they are cheap, and some of them are true gems.

Much appreciated!

Dover has published both of Harrison's books, they are not a bad place to start.
