Has anyone heard from SLAC yet? At this point I'm fairly sure I didn't get accepted but some closure would be nice.
The forum discussion centers around the application process for the SULI (Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internships) program and other related internships for summer 2017. Participants share their experiences, including acceptances and rejections from various institutions such as Fermilab, Argonne, and General Atomics. Key insights include the importance of avoiding personally identifiable information (PII) on transcripts, as one participant was disqualified due to this issue. Additionally, the Lee Teng internship is highlighted as a valuable opportunity for those interested in Accelerator Physics.
PREREQUISITESUndergraduate students in physics and engineering, particularly those seeking summer internships at national laboratories and research institutions.
Don't worry, I haven't heard back from them yet either. Hopefully that just means they're still making their final decisions before they release them.abk1207 said:Has anyone heard from SLAC yet? At this point I'm fairly sure I didn't get accepted but some closure would be nice.

The Fermilab opportunity is much closer to my home (easy driving distance) and pays more. Any insights or suggestions? Is there any huge difference in quality/prestige of these two programs?
