Tri-Poster design for Research Presentation

AI Thread Summary
For a project presentation using a tri-poster on the theme of outer space, the choice of background is crucial for maintaining professionalism. While a design featuring stars and planets could enhance the space theme, opinions suggest that such a design may come across as juvenile, particularly given the target audience of professors. A plain white background is recommended to ensure a more professional appearance, allowing the content to stand out without distractions.

I Have a question. I have this project presentation that requires the use of a Tri-Poster. The theme of the project is outer space. For maintaining professionalism would it be considered ok to design the background with stars and planets to help keep that space feel, or should I leave it with the plain white background.

That sounds to me very middle-school. I'd stick with a plain background.

Hey, I am Andreas from Germany. I am currently 35 years old and I want to relearn math and physics. This is not one of these regular questions when it comes to this matter. So... I am very realistic about it. I know that there are severe contraints when it comes to selfstudy compared to a regular school and/or university (structure, peers, teachers, learning groups, tests, access to papers and so on) . I will never get a job in this field and I will never be taken serious by "real"...
