Or from anybody else trying to get something done, especially if it involves other people. If you don't know where they come from, you haven't really lived!
 
Reflection of reality

Murphy's law - a funny way to simply say we live in a fallen and imperfect world.

One that is totally beyond our ability to save, control or even maintain.
 
end result: we are imperfect, and we will forever be.
