Various technologies exist for separating small particles from gas flows, including magnetic separation for magnetic particles. Non-magnetic particles can be effectively separated using methods such as filtration, adsorption with materials like zeolites, and cyclonic separation. Electrostatic precipitators are also mentioned as a viable option for particle extraction. These methods are similar to how vacuum cleaners filter dust from exhaust. Understanding the properties of the particles is crucial for selecting the appropriate separation technique.

Hello!
What are the available technologies to separate small particles from a flow of gas?
I assume that if the particles are magnetic we can apply a magnetic field?
Any other methods?
And what if they're not magnetic?
Thanks!

The first things that come to my mind are filtering or adsorption (e.g., with zeolites).
