What colleges on the East Coast have a decent physics program?

In summary, the individual is looking to transfer from their current college due to a lack of a good physics program. They are seeking recommendations for universities or colleges with strong physics departments, specifically in the areas of particle, nuclear, or astrophysics. They have previously searched online but have not found anything helpful and are open to suggestions. Some possible options mentioned are Stony Brook, UPenn, and Maryland, with a suggestion to check their websites for more information about their research.

Hi,

I live on the East Coast (USA), and I'm looking into transferring from the college I'm at because it does not have a decent physics program/department.

Does anyone have any recommendations for unis/colleges that have really good ones? (I'm not talking MIT, Harvard, etc. I know I probably wouldn't be accepted, so please don't mention those).
I have tried googling this, but my searches haven't been fruitful.

At this point, I'm looking for something that has either a really good particle, nuclear, or astrophysics department.
Thank you for any help that you can give me. I really appreciate it. :)
