In summary, thinking in words refers to the natural inner monologue that most people have as their thought pattern. It involves speaking words either internally or externally. However, some people may have a dominance difference in their internal pre-expression, with some relying more on internal speaking and others on internal imagery.

I don't think this is the correct forum category for this discussion.

Something basic to read:

I would have thought everyone thinks in words (at least for the most part). You have a natural inner monologue which is words, which is your natural thought pattern. As you sit here typing you are speaking the words either internally or externally. This is thinking in words.

When you think, do you "say" things in your head or do you picture them (in image format)?

Right.
Internal pre-expression can be different in different people.
Whereas we all have internal "speaking" and we all have internal "imagery" there is a "dominance" difference.
