My faviorite (Next to the complete Far Side Collection!)

Is the Forever Flashlight No batteries needed! It will never run down! Pretty cool, It Has a coil and a small magnet mounted in the handle, the magnet is free to slide back and forth through the coil, thus charging a small Cap (some circiutry involved) About 20sec of shaking gives about 2min of good light.

All the rest of my gifts were the opposite of geeky! Japanese rice bowl & chopsticks, giant Hershey's kiss, Harry Potter #5. But I liked 'em all; please don't tell me this means I'm turning into a non-geek!

We watched (or should I say Read!) that movie a few months back, ...

humm... I fell asleep!

Thats the trouble with watching movies while lying on the sofa.

I got the rest of the Harry Potter series for myself. (I can't very well read the 5th one if I don't remember the other 4, right? )


Oh, I'm going to be getting a math textbook for my birthday on the 9th (woulda gotten it for Christmas, but I didn't let my folks know in time). That's geeky enough. :smile:

I got Tsunami a radio controlled car to chase Zoobie with[the kitten, not the member].

I also got her a George Foreman grill in honor of Boxing Day.

I got walkie talkies...that's kind of nerdy. This way Tsunami figures I can't hide anymore. Really they are very useful on start-ups. This prevents a lot of yelling and walking.

I got a textbook on Topology, an Isaac Asimov book, The Mummy II, Enemy at the Gates, some PJ's, a Rage Against the Machine VHS, and a textbook on Mathematical Physics.

My wife got me a radio controlled car to chase our dog with. It's fun isn't it?

I also got a battery operated star finder that lights up and can show the area of the sky where planets are, star constellations, and a few other objects. If that ain't nerdy, I don't know what is.

At least my grandma thought it was boring.

I got a rain poncho from my sister and paper lantern from my parents. It was funny when i opened a cool lookin present that was actually a lamp shade. WTH?

(to self): I just don't get these guys.

I received nothing at all. Is that Geeky enough for you?

Of course, I did run out to get myself The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers Extended Edition DVD the day after Christmas. Worst and Only Gift I've received for this year. A little sad, don't you think?

heh, My family spent more time eating than opening presents. More time was spent in the preperation of dinner like setting up the table rather than the tree itself.

Apparently Christmas isn't over for me because I got more presents today.

I got 50 CD-R's, Richard Feynman's Six Easy Pieces, and some black leather pants.

No, the sweater isn't warm, I am. It just keeps me from losing heat.

Sweaters are nerdy, too. I have a math/science teacher that has tons of sweaters. He wears a different one almost every day.
