SUMMARY

The discussion centers on the philosophical implications of cosmology, specifically the idea that all knowledge is intrinsically linked to cosmological principles. A quote is referenced, suggesting that all phenomena observed in the universe are part of cosmology. Participants express skepticism about the extent to which human behavior can be classified under cosmological study, highlighting a distinction between physical phenomena and social sciences.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of basic cosmological concepts
  • Familiarity with philosophical implications of scientific knowledge
  • Knowledge of the relationship between physical sciences and social sciences
  • Awareness of influential quotes in scientific literature
NEXT STEPS
  • Research the foundational principles of cosmology
  • Explore the philosophical implications of science on human behavior
  • Investigate notable quotes in science and their authors
  • Study the intersection of physical sciences and social sciences
USEFUL FOR

Philosophers, cosmologists, science enthusiasts, and anyone interested in the relationship between cosmology and human understanding.

Once I read a famous quote from a science book, but I do remember the name of the book, neither the name of the speaker.
The general idea of the famous quote is that,
"All the knowledge we have are in principle some parts of cosmology."
It implies that since all the phenomena we see are parts of universe, all the knowledge on the phenomena are also in principle parts of cosmology.

So, I wonder if any people ever read about this quote? Could anyone tell me about the name of the book, or the name of the speaker? It will be very helpful to me!

I'm not familiar with the quote but it seems like a wickedly long stretch. Yes, humans are made from stardust but human behavior does not seem to me to be in the domain of cosmology.
