What properties should I include in a report about periodic table periods?

Hi guys.

I have to do a little written report about Periodic table and I have to write either about Groups, Periods or Transition elements.

I have decided to write about Periods. First I wrote what a periodic table is and how it is formed (just a little histry) then I explained the order of arrangement.

I have to include some other important features to make another 150-200 Words.

I have explained that they are Reductants from left and they become Oxidants towards right.

Can someone give me other details such as similarities and diffrences or provide a link that I could read.
