If the universe were to end with the Big Rip scenario, Would the milky way still exist up until the Big Rip? If so, how long would it take for the Milky Way, Earth and Humans to be ripped apart? (eg. How long from when we start feeling something to all atoms being separate) Would humans survive up until being ripped apart? Would fundamental particles continue to be pulled further apart from each other forever? If so would they ever combine again?
