Homework Statement


Of the following compounds, which has the highest boiling point?
  1. (A) CH3—CH3
  2. (B) CH3—CH2OH
  3. (C) CH3—COOH
  4. (D) CH3—COH
  5. (E) H2S

Chose C because is more polar with the 2 oxygens, however, the answer has conflicting answer. It says its E while explaining why its C. Can someone confirm which one is right? Thanks!

So obviously wrong, H2S is a gas at STP.
