SUMMARY

The discussion evaluates various Quantum Mechanics video lectures from prestigious institutions, highlighting Yale University's lectures by Ramamurthy Shankar, IIT Madras's lectures by Prof. V. Balakrishnan, MIT's Quantum Physics I by Prof. Alan Adams, and Oxford University's lectures by Prof. James Binney. Participants recommend Balakrishnan's lectures for those with prior knowledge and emphasize MIT's course as the best for beginners. Additional resources like Gaabeek's introduction to Quantum Mechanics are also suggested for self-learners.

PREREQUISITES
  • Basic understanding of Quantum Mechanics concepts
  • Familiarity with online learning platforms
  • Interest in physics and self-directed study
  • Knowledge of video lecture formats and accessibility
NEXT STEPS
  • Explore Yale University's Quantum Mechanics lectures by Ramamurthy Shankar
  • Review IIT Madras's Quantum Mechanics lectures by Prof. V. Balakrishnan
  • Investigate MIT's Quantum Physics I course materials
  • Read Gaabeek's introduction to Quantum Mechanics available on arXiv
USEFUL FOR

Which among the following is the best one?
Any other video lecture which you have watched and think that it is really good is welcomed.

P.S. : I am a fresher who has taken Electrical engineering but have QM as a course in the first year. I am also much interested in learning QM. So, video lectures which help in self learning are welcomed.

Thank you

My favourite is Balakrishnan's, but I think it is better for a second course in QM.

An good free introduction to QM is Gaabeek's http://arxiv.org/abs/1007.4184.

You should try "Quantum Mechanics-I" on MIT Open course ware website, it's the best I have seen yet.
One word: Awesome.
:-)
