I’m looking into enrolling in a part-time online data science-related masters program, and am looking for suggestions/feedback on which ones to consider. Some might consider those a waste of time and money and I can just self study, but given that, I would like to still pursue this to get a degree and also get formal education.

There’s quite a bit of programs online ranging from big name schools like Northwestern and Berkeley, to more affordable schools in Kentucky and Oklahoma.

Are there certain schools that have a good reputation in data science, or is it best to just get the most expensive, big name schools my employer can afford?

Are there any schools that comes to mind that you would consider?

My primary interest is geared towards R, python, Predictive analytics, machine learning, etc
