Why Are SR-41 Button Cells Superior to LR-41s?

I read in maplin.co.uk that SR-41 button cells are superior to LR-41s.
In what ways and by how much?

SR are silver oxide, they have more energy/volume than LR alkaline and have a flat discharge curve. They also have a long shelf life if not exposed to air.
