10% of global hard mode players failed to solve the puzzle.
Guessing standard mode players will fare about as well, as this is historically the worst pattern.

One of the strangest things about wordle since I started playing hard mode is finding out that the hard mode numbers are better than the standard mode numbers.
For instance, todays global mean in standard mode is 5.224.
And the percentage of standard mode players who failed to solve the puzzle is 13.6%

By guess number three it was the only word I could come up with that fit. Yesterday on guess six there were still three words that fit.

According to my analysis, there were only 6 words after your seed that could be used as your second guess. And they in turn left between 21 and 26 words. I would say you were incredibly lucky.
