What are the most memorable quotes about Quantum Theory of Gravity?

"Anyon e who is not shocked by the Quantum theorydoesnot understand it" - Neils bohr Below is a littl epoem i came across, composed by Harvard's Howard Georgi, reminding Weinberg... "Steve weinberg...

Understanding Reddening and Its Impact on Light Scattering in Astronomy

thanks for the correction, i just mixed up frequencies with wavelenght. everything else is fine.

What is the difference between bearing and heading?

that mean it goes 1m/s more in each second, incresing speed w.r.t time.

Is the Universe Curved or Flat and How Does It Affect Energy?

    1. Flat or curved, recent studies had shown that mass of the universe is not enough to curl up the space time arround itself. But it is not still 100% sure bcoz in the calculations only visible structures are taken into account. And it is belived that if the discovery of the MACHOs and WIMPs...

Is Anti-Fusion a Viable Concept in Physics?

I know breaking up atom is known as fission. but you are mixing it with nuclear fission, where a moving neutron set up a chain reaction, but i reffered anti-fussion to the process in which we somehow just reverse the process of fussion, not breaking as in fission. Thanx for your...

Centrifugal force in high pressure vessel

If it is so, then the pressure of the gas will depend on the position from where it is being measured. Due to rotations, the gas will be displaced toward the outer side. And the pressure of the gass will gradually increase when we move from ceter of rotation to the extreme of the daimeter.

Is Anti-Fusion a Viable Concept in Physics?

Yes. but not only hellium, breaking carbon to hellium, as in white dwarf star. for all the know fussions.

Is Anti-Fusion a Viable Concept in Physics?

hello, A thought suddenly come to mind, whether anti fission is possible or not. I selected fussion because it is much simmpler then the fission, there is no radioactive disintegration, no fast moving neutrons are ejected. Only gamma rays are emmited. I know it sounds stupid...

Proof of Equation for Period of Spring: T = 2pi (root x)/(root a)

yes, that's right, oscilating motion is also called as the projection of the circular motion. But when you are giving a proof for oscilating spring than you must take only spring i system in account, you can reffer to other relative systems, but relate them with the required system. this...

Understanding Reddening and Its Impact on Light Scattering in Astronomy

Do you know anything about resolving power of a microscope, it is inversly proportional to wavelenght of the light used. blue light have large wavelenght in visible spectrum, using it will decrease the resolving power of the microscope. And i never heard that blue light is used in microscopes...

Proof of Equation for Period of Spring: T = 2pi (root x)/(root a)

You equated it in a good manner but I don't thik it is good. You have taken centripetal acceleration in account but in an oscilating spring it is not possible. To find it correctly, use t = 2 (pi)/f find f for spring motion.

Does Accelerating at Higher Speeds Require More Energy?

You are mixing whatever you have learned, mixing force with energy, mixing frames of references and everything. it seems that you even do not pay attention in your classes, k.E = 0.5mv^2 tells us about the energy present in a body due to the motion of the body. By increasing the speed you...

How Do You Calculate Acceleration and Speed of a Block on an Incline?

Acceleration down the plane is "gsin22" to calculate speed at the bottom, V^2 = U^2 + 2a*s U initial velocity s distance covered

Do Dielectric Properties of Materials Change with Frequency of RF Waves?

Welcome to PF, When any material is placed in a electric field the electrons and the nuclii of the atom of the material arrange themself in such a way that they create their own electric field which is opposite in the direction of the applied electric field and it results in reduced...
