Force and Motion Homework: Solving for Mass Comparison on Slopes
Homework Statement Two blocks rest on slopes and are coonected by a pulley. The left hand slope makes a 60 degree ngla with the horizontal. The right hand slope makes a 20 degree angle. How should the masses compare if the objects do not slide along the frictionless slopes? Book...- Cantworkit

Solve Force & Motion Homework: Find Stretch of Spring w/ 2 & 3 kg Masses
Homework Statement A 2.0-kg mass and a 3.0-kg mass are on a horizontal frictionless surface connected by a massless spring with spring constant k = 140 N/m. The large mass is on the right of the spring: the small mass on the left. A 15-N force is applied to the large mass. How much...- Cantworkit

What were the speed and angle of the diver's projectile motion off a 3-m board?
I am still having trouble. If y0 is at the water, then the total y dispacement is 5.5 m--2.5 m above the board and 3 m below the board. I still can't come up with 7.2 m/s for v0 no matter how I solve for it.- Cantworkit

What were the speed and angle of the diver's projectile motion off a 3-m board?
I do not know the initial velocity. That is what I am trying to solve for, as wll as the angle.- Cantworkit
