Determine the translational speed of the cylinder
Homework Statement A solid cylinder w/ mass m, radius r, and rotational inertia 1/25mr2 rolls without slipping down an inclined plane. THe cylinder starts form rest at height h. The inclined plane makes an angle θ w/ the horizontal.Determine the translational speed of the cylinder when it...- k-rod AP 2010

1D Motion - Position as a Funtion of Time
for questions 1-5, plug in the time given to for t then use those numbers to complete the problem. to find equations for velocity and acceleration, you must differentiate the position function. ex. x(t)=d(1+2t+4t^2) --> v(t)=8t+2 then v(t)=d(8t+2) --> a(t)=8 position...- k-rod AP 2010

Planetary Motion HW: Orbit Radius & Speed Around Jupiter
ok, that's what i thought thanks for the help. and another question pertaining to this hw,... if the orbital speed were mistakingly made slower than needed the orbit would be smaller than desired, and if it were faster than needed the orbit would be larger and more elliptical than wanted right?- k-rod AP 2010

Finding Mass m2 for Equilibrium: Two Masses on a Meterstick
Two masses hang from a meterstick whose fulcrum is at 50.0cm. M1=.100kg acts at 20.0 cm, what value of mass m2 at position 70.0 puts the the system at equilibrium? (.3m*(.1kg*9.8m/s2))=(.2m*(9.8m/s2*x kg)) .294 N*m=.2m(9.8*x N) 1.47 N=9.8*x N x=.15 kg Is this procedure correct...- k-rod AP 2010

VSEPR Model for AsH3 and OF2: Understanding Molecular Geometry
Yes AsH3 is pyramidal, as the lone pair wants as much space as it can get, and the largest angle it could have from the other atoms would be on top of the molecule. leaving the other hydrogen atoms in a trigonal pyramidal shape...- k-rod AP 2010
