Calculating Charge, Current, and EMF in a Reversing Magnetic Field"

Hey lads, if anyone can, please check If I am correct... Thanks :) [i]A 100 turn circular coil has a diameter of 2 cm and a resistance of 50 Ohms. The plane of the coil is perpendicular to a uniform magnetic field of magnitude 1 T. The direction of the field is suddenly reversed. (a) Find...

2 blocks sliding down a incline connected by string (check please)

i used this for the second part... if you look at my equation but i combined them together... am i wrong?(mgx1+mgx2)-(ff1+ff2) = (m1+m2)a if you combine them the T's cancel but i can find the T by setting it in a separate equation? what's wrong with my method? Thanks

2 blocks sliding down a incline connected by string (check please)

Two blocks with masses 4.0kg and 8.0 kg are connected by a string and slide down a 30 degree inclined plane. The coefficient of kinetic friction between the 4.0 kg block and the plane is 0.25; that between the 8.0 kg block and the plane is 0.35 a) calculate the acceleration of each block...

    Inverse Functions. Test Prep help.

hey lads, i just was wondering if i solved this right: 5. Consider the function f(x) = 3x+cos(x), defined on the interval [0, pi] (a) prove that f has an inverse function g. Note: you are note expected to find the inverse function g indicate your reasoning. I dre the graph of f(x) and...

Differential Equation. A little help please kind lads

    ok so i have y=e^c sinx - a now i have to do y(pi/3) = e^c*sin(pi/3)-a =a and solve for c? *try*

Differential Equation. A little help please kind lads

    LN(a+y) = LN (sinx) + C Like this? Then a+y = sinx +c (take e^ of both sides) so y = sinx - a the answer is y= (4a*sinx)/sqrt(3) - a my answer is close to that i suppose now i have to do something with that y(p/3) = a ... any hints?

Limit Problem (L'hospitals rule ) (difference)

Help please =P I've been doing all the l'hospitals rule problems fine and i did the limit of 1/x-cscx fine... same for otehers but i can't get this one?? lim x->infinity (x-ln[x]) I tried making x = 1/x^-1 and then combining them but that made it so confusing, is that the right approach...
