What is the Current Carrying Capacity of a 1-Inch Grounding Strap?

hi gents,

need ur assitant in finding the current carrying capacity of grounding strap (braided cable)

if the cable size is one inch or 25 mm, how can I know how much current can it handle?

Look it up in the electrical wiring codes for your location.

You could work out the voltage drop and power dissipation for a given current current - if you know the dimensions and material - but for the official capacity with the required safety factors you need the wiring codes.
