AI Thread Summary
Voting for the 2017 Member Awards will commence on December 15th, giving members just over two weeks to earn nominations from staff. Bribing is generally prohibited, with a humorous exception made for one member who can receive chocolates and kittens. The community engages in light-hearted banter about the assessment process, jokingly suggesting absurd challenges like navigating through kittens and swimming in tight spaces. The conversation emphasizes the importance of genuine participation over spamming likes. Members are reminded that time is running out to make a lasting impression before the polls open.

Voting will open Dec 15th! You have a little over two weeks to impress in order to receive a nomination by one of our staff. Bribing is not allowed, except in the case of @Evo. You can send her chocolates and kittens.

Assessments involve running a gauntlet of just-fed kittens, a marathon from the General Physics forum to the General Discussion forum, and a grueling 14-inch relay swim.

Oh, is that something new implemented this year? Usually members have to squeeze into really tight swimwear to fit in the pool.
