Homework Statement



A moving-coil meter, with internal resistance Rmeter = 15 Ω produces full-scale deflection for a current of 13 mA. Design a voltmeter, as shown below, which can measure voltages in the range 0 - 14 V. What is the required value for Rseries?

Basically it's asking you to put the moving coil current meter into a box together with a resistor so you can call the whole thing a voltmeter.

Draw the circuit and show it connected to a 14 V source/battery. Use what you know to work out what value of R gives full scale deflection whan connected to 14V.
