Hello everyone at Physics Forums,

My name is Juan Sánchez Prieto, and I am an aerospace engineer by training. Although my work has primarily focused on aeronautical projects, I am also passionate about research in the field of permanent magnets. In particular, I am interested in aspects related to the Curie temperature and the possibilities it opens up for various industrial and technological applications.

I have had some experience with the synthesis and characterization of magnetic materials, but I look forward to learning much more from this community. I would love to discuss, exchange ideas, and discover the latest trends in the development of advanced magnets.

Thank you for reading this introduction! I am sure I will find people here with extensive knowledge and a willingness to share. Greetings to you all!

Welcome to the forum. I think you've come to the right place.

Hello everyone, I was advised to join this community while seeking guidance on how to navigate the academic world as an independent researcher. My name is Omar, and I'm based in Groningen The Netherlands. My formal physics education ended after high school, but I have dedicated the last several years to developing a theoretical framework from first principles. My work focuses on a topological field theory (which I call Swirl-String Theory) that models particles as knotted vortex...
