AI Thread Summary
Users are seeking alternatives to GSView for reading PostScript files on Windows, specifically looking for features like continuous page scrolling, a hand cursor for dragging pages, and modern toolbar buttons. While Adobe Acrobat Pro meets these requirements, it is not a freeware option. The discussion highlights the need for a free solution that supports the latest GPL GhostScript version 8.63, as previous options like IrfanView are limited to older versions. The emphasis is on finding a user-friendly and feature-rich freeware alternative.

Can anyone recommend an alternative to GSView for Windows? (for reading postscript files)

Some features I'd like to see in addition to those supported by GSView are:
Continuous page scrolling
Hand cursor for dragging a page around
Non-Win3.1-like buttons on the toolbar

I've used IrfanView before, but it only supports AFPL version 8.54 of GhostScript and it was my hope to use the new 8.63 GPL GhostScript.

Thanks much,
~Matt
