SUMMARY

The discussion centers on fundamental physics calculations involving electric and gravitational forces between a proton and an electron, as well as the velocity of light and the permittivity of a vacuum. Key results include the electric force of 8.238x10-8 N and the gravitational force of 3.63x10-47 N. The density of a proton is estimated at 1.78x1016 kg m-3, while the density of the sun is 1405 kg m-3. The ratios of these forces and densities yield results of the same order, prompting a discussion on the arbitrary nature of the selected objects.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of Coulomb's Law for electric force calculations
  • Familiarity with Newton's Law of Universal Gravitation
  • Knowledge of the speed of light in a vacuum
  • Concept of permittivity in electromagnetism
NEXT STEPS
  • Explore the implications of Coulomb's Law in electrostatics
  • Study gravitational force calculations in astrophysics
  • Investigate the significance of permittivity in electromagnetic theory
  • Research Planck units and their relevance in physics
USEFUL FOR

Students of physics, educators teaching fundamental forces, and researchers interested in the relationships between electromagnetic and gravitational interactions.

I'm thinking Planck units here. But since your selection of proton and sun is purely arbitrary and the two aren't fundamentally related in any way, I could pick the density of any two objects and come up with the same ratio if I wanted to and ask the same question you're asking so I think your question is faulty

Q11. The number of fingers on my hands
(10)
Q12. The number of even primes (1)
(1)
Q13. Divide the 39th power of the eleventh answer by the 39th power of the twelfth answer.
(1039)
Q14. Why is the answer to Q13 the same order as the answers to Q7, Q8 & Q9?
A14. Because I ignored units in the ratio as did the OP in the answer to Q8.
